Manual system for the separation of PCBs (aluminium, CEM and FR4) The DPF-300 is a manual depaneling machine designed by Piergiacomi to meet small and medium-scale depaneling needs, when the use of a plier would entail excessive labour and the use of an automatic depaneling system would not justify the amortization costs. The main feature of DPF-300 is the possibility to change the milling cutter quickly and the INTERCHANGEABLE GUIDE designed by Piergiacomi. The guide helps the operator in placing and then pulling the circuit until the cut is done. Thanks to its special shape, the INTERCHANGEABLE GUIDE avoids any damage to the assembled circuit even if the operator inserts it wrongly and does not place the guide perfectly inside the eyelet. In fact, its special shape helps protecting the circuit against any possible incidents, in accordance with the latest safety standards. Piergiacomi designed and manufactured this new DPF-300 to solve problems such as stress, breaking or tearing out of PCB fibres that often occur when using standard blades or hand tools, and that, with the increased complexity and miniaturization of the circuits, are less and less tolerated. The DPF-300 yields the same quality of cut as an automatic system but at much lower costs. DPF-300’s built-in extraction system allows placing the system easily and quickly in any working area.
